Bluegrass is growing and is looking for a new team member. We are open to appointing someone as a Research Executive, Senior Research Executive or Research Manager.

Regardless of level, the role will involve working with the team at Bluegrass to deliver qualitative and quantitative projects on a day to day basis, co-ordinating all aspects of the project from inception to delivery. This could involve, for example, focus groups to test creative ideas developed by an advertising agency; new product or service development research; surveys to profile and understand consumer markets ...and much, much more. It’s a real opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career, working with companies and brands to form and refine their strategies.

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of marketing and experience of marketing research methods. You may already be working in the industry or just keen to start your career. Most importantly, we need someone who is:

• Flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure
• An excellent communicator, highly enthusiastic and motivated
• Keen to learn and prepared to work hard

Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is crucial. Experience of a data software package like SPSS or Snap Surveys would be great too, but not essential.

This is the perfect position for someone who wants to make a difference – to Bluegrass; to our clients; and to their own career. We have very high standards but, in turn, provide a supportive and nurturing environment where we work hard but have fun too.

To be considered for a Senior Research Executive or Research Manager role, we think you’ll need at least three to five years of agency experience (running qualitative and quantitative research projects) and to be skilled in the following areas:

• Managing clients and projects
• Writing discussion guides and questionnaires
• Conducting depth interviews and moderating focus groups
• Analysing, interpreting and reporting research findings
• Presenting research findings to clients
• Writing proposals

For all levels, salary will be commensurate with experience and market research agency norms.
